They all finish their final year exams, and try their level best to kick start their careers while they face some interesting situations in life.The film covers the coming of age of all these friends, as they try to solve a Rubik’s cube called life! It also covers lot of issues like acid attacks on girls, suicides, misunderstandings, false prestige and so on.

Gayam 2 directed by Praveen Sri, who was previously an associate of Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Dr.Dharma Kartha. This is the sequel to the 1993 blockbuster “Gayam” which also starred jagapathi babu. Music by Ilayaraja.

Japathi Babu was established will after the massive hit of “Gayam”. Vimala Raman plays the female lead. Japathi will play the character named Durga as in the first part which cannot be forgotten so easily. In the year 2010, the same Durga who intimidated us on the screen in the Ram Gopal Verma’s edge-of-the-seat film on gang wars and brutal killings, is coming back. It will be a unique kind of sequel because in the past no other film has seen a sequel made after 15 years.
