M.G.R. Nambi is producing and directing the film “Poruthiru”. New faces Vijay Raj, Gowri, Divya Sree are acting. For this film M.G.R song “Naan Manthopil Ninrirunthen….” song from “Enga Veetu Pillai” is being remixed. For this song Malavika have danced. About this M.G.R. Nambi said that: “Poruthiru” film is all mixed beautiful village story. I have acted as milkman in the film. After malavika’s marriage she is acting as actress Malavika first time in this film. Malavika comes to open a tea shop in village and i will welcome her because i’m a big person in that village. My aunt’s daughter links me and Malavika and her imagination song only that “Enga Veetu Pillai” remix song. Late S.S. Chandran after 12 years he have acted in this film and its his last film also.
