Malayalam actors must participate in honouring function for Kamal Hassan

In honouring function for Kamal, function committe head Sivan kutti M.L.A asked Malayalam actors to participate in the function. Every year Kerala Government will arrange a honouring function succesive to Onam festival. This year Kerala Government have announced that they are going to honour Kamal Hassan. This function is going to be held on 22nd of this month and CM Achuthanandan will be the chief guest for the function. Meanwhile Malayalam Nadigar Sangam have announce that they are against for kamal’s Honouring Function by Kerala Government. The sangam head Innoocent said that, ” The association is not against honouring Kamal but is agitated that when there are numerous actors and actresses in Kerala, having completed 50 years in the film industry, why an actor from another state should be felicitated.”. About this function committe head Sivan kutti M.L.A spoke to media that, ” Kamal had did many acheivements in cine field. He had completed his successful 50 years in cinema. So government had decided to honour him. On behalf of government he will be recieved in airport itself with grand welcoming. About this we discussed last year. In this Malayalam nadigar sangam didnt participate. Everybody from Malayalam nadigar sangam should participate in this function. That only will ne decent and culture. ” said so Sivan kutti M.L.A.
