T.Rajendran, who bought rights for the distribution of his son’s movie “Osthe” from Reliance. He bought for 22 Crores and released under Kural TV/Creations. Sources said about 10 Crores loss occured.
Even though, Osthe is running in theatres, but lack of audience and collections. Reliance gave rights for distribution in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka for 22 Crores. And sold Satellite rights for 6 Crores to FMS Company and Overseas rights for 3 Crores. Totally reliance made a profit of 5 to 6 Crores.
Sources mumbling that Balaji Productions made a profit of 5 Crores. But sad story for T.R.
