For very first time Vijay is going to act in direct telugu film. That is the “3-Idiots” telugu re-make film. Shankar is going to direct the tamil version and in this Vijay, Arya and Jeeva are going to act. First it was told that Magesh Babu will act instead of Vijay in Telugu re-make. But Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrasekar asked his ex-student Shankar(Shankar worked as assistant director to S.A.Chandrasekar) to make vijay itself to act in telugu film also. Shankar was thinking about the request and S.A.C have submitted some details of Vijay’s dubbing films which went well in telugu. Now somehow Shankar decided and accepted to introduce Vijay in telugu it seems.
